Veta Bates

Veta has been utilizing her divergent and convergent thinking skills since she could talk. Nurtured by a liberal arts upbringing, education and personal passion, her wide-ranging curiosities and knack for negotiating household, school-yard and classroom harmony naturally evolved into a creative problem-solving career focused on idea-development, brand expansion and facilitation.

Specializing in bridging ideas across industries, Veta has demonstrated her organizational and development abilitie within diverse work environments.  She has consulted and managed projects for Fortune 500 companies including The Walt Disney Company, Paramount Pictures, Ogilvy Mather, RealD and Six Flags Theme Parks and has designed and facilitated organizational development trainings for the likes of Procter & Gamble, The Coca-Cola Company, General Mills and Diageo.

Veta holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bard College, is thrilled about pursuing her Masters in Branding at the School of Visual Arts, and though Manhattan never ceases to amaze, she is always grateful when the L-train pops her ears beneath the East River because it means she's nearing home in Brooklyn.

The curriculum for The Masters in Branding Program allows students to create frameworks to guide brand, design and business development, critically evaluate brand, business, marketing and design strategies and Master the intellectual link between leadership and creativity. Learn more...
