Fabien Muenala

Fabian Amaru Muenala, was born in Ecuador of Native Kichwa parents. He graduated from The City College of New York with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, concentrating and also taking several courses in Graphic Design, Typography, and Photography, to fulfill various creative interests he's had his entire life.

For the last six years, he has ventured into the small business world creating and cultivating a brand, Alter Native. They sell different handmade Native American crafts from different Indigenous Native people of North, Central, and South America. They work with artisans to offer customers different and one-of-a-kind pieces in jewelry, artworks, and crafts while simultaneously, sharing the history and customs of the Native people that make them.

Advertising and Graphic Design have helped in many ways to create Alter Native, but he hopes the study of branding will take the small business further.
