Miguele Issa

Miguele was first introduced to the world of visual arts when she studied and received her BFA in Graphic Design at the American University of Beirut. She always admired the power of communication, especially because of her upbringing in a context as diverse and complex as Lebanon.


She started out as an Art Director at Leo Burnett Beirut and worked on various Procter & Gamble brands in the Beauty, HomeCare and FemCare categories for MENA, Eastern Europe and Latin America. But after a few years of creative work in a competitive environment, Miguele decided to change paths and to move to a more impact- focused context. She became the marketing manager of arcenciel, Lebanon’s largest independent social enterprise. In 2015, arcenciel was awarded “Social enterprise of the year” by the Schwab Foundation, organizers of the World Economic Forum in Davos. Miguele founded the NGO’s marketing department. She is also co-founder of Karm el Joz; a space for events and celebrations in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon. 


Miguele has always been fascinated by brands, their characters, their strategies, their purposes and their impact. She aspires to acquire a global understanding of branding and communication. 

The curriculum for The Masters in Branding Program allows students to create frameworks to guide brand, design and business development, critically evaluate brand, business, marketing and design strategies and Master the intellectual link between leadership and creativity. Learn more...
