Joana Brito

Working in the fashion industry has given Joana a keen eye for quality and an intuitive understanding of the value of a carefully thought out brand strategy.

As a PR and marketing manager for fashion brands, in one of Latin America’s leading fashion PR and marketing companies, she developed her knowledge of brand strategy from conceptualization to execution. She was responsible for many top local fashion brands, the fashion publication Vogue Brazil, international brands as Chanel, the innovative online retailer Moda Operandi and the trend forecasting platform WGSN.

Five years later, she joined Michael Kors as the brand’s first Marketing and PR Manager in Brazil. The challenge of transforming and building the MK brand in the Brazilian market was everything she had ever dreamed of.

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Joana has always been looking for new cultural experiences. She used her school breaks as opportunities to join exchange programs around the world.
