Rosario is sociable introvert with a quick, imaginative, and strategic mind. She is Nicaraguan-American and has experience in social and behavioral marketing, food and beverage, consumer goods, and bottom-of-the-pyramid (BOP) marketing. She is a big proponent of “inclusive business” and using business for social good.
Rosario earned her Bachelors in Business at the University of Notre Dame where she majored in Marketing and Psychology, a combination she loved. She worked some years in social marketing in Austin, Texas and later returned to Nicaragua where she worked with one of the largest national CPG companies in the country. There she was tasked with launching new products to market and saw firsthand the excitement and challenges of starting brands from scratch.
She then founded Nicaragua’s first open-air cinema and marketing events company, which serves as a great non-traditional marketing channel. It is particularly useful for communicating with hard to reach, rural, BOP markets. She was invited to speak at TEDx Managua to share about her project “Cine Ambulante” (wandering cinema). Part of her ideas worth spreading centers on the importance of uniting both social and business objectives in order to make positive impacts in economically sustainable ways. Rosario has an enormous appreciation for all things nature. She loves hiking volcanoes and going to the beach every chance she gets. She is very excited about forming part of the SVA Branding family and being in New York City with the top creative minds in the world.
