Sam Baker

Part Frank Underwood, part Huckleberry Finn, Sam comes from a small town in Kentucky where he learned to play the banjo, fix cars, and cultivated his craft of storytelling from some of the world’s greatest liars.

Graduating from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, in 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts in English and Spanish, Sam’s love for words, strategy, and the power of ideas has permeated through his work. Since graduating, Sam has been the VP of Operations for DocuVision, a disruptive business within the insurance and asset protection field, an advisor and campaign manager for numerous political candidates in Kentucky, and has also marketed for best-selling authors and sold-out music festivals within the greater Nashville area.

Always in search of expanding his creative skill sets, Sam is beyond thrilled to be attending SVA, where he hopes to immerse himself in his studies, New York’s culture, and come out prepared to further assist the brands he is passionate about.
