María Sanoja

María Sanoja is a graphic designer, born and raised in the Dominican Republic. She’s the daughter of an economist and an engineer, and the oldest of four sisters. She loves music, lasagna and photography.   


María started studying Advertising in her native town of Santo Domingo, when she realized that her true passion was Graphic Design. She then moved to New York, where she got her BFA in Graphic Design from SVA.   


María recently worked as a web designer at J.Crew, and previously held Design internships at Mother Design, Purpose-Built, Young and Rubicam, and BBDO. She seeks to combine wonder and reason to create resonance.  

The curriculum for The Masters in Branding Program allows students to create frameworks to guide brand, design and business development, critically evaluate brand, business, marketing and design strategies and Master the intellectual link between leadership and creativity. Learn more...
