Starrain Yang

Before pursue master degree in Branding at SVA, Starrain was a strategic planning manager with 8 years working experience in leading advertising agencies including McCann, Grey, and M&C Saatchi in Shanghai. Her clients include Cadillac, Sony, and Lenovo. Her contribution for Cadillac SRX resulted in a Silver Effie China Award on Long Term Communication Effects and a Bronze Branding Award at the China ROI Festival in 2013.    

 

Obsessed with digging out the consumer insights to find the naked truth and thinking out of the box to work out the touching ideas, Starrain dreams of one day creating her own brand.   

 

Besides a planner, Starrain was a copywriter, an editor, a designer with various kinds of freelancing work as well. She was also a writer for a Chinese local newspaper with several published articles on travel and creative industries. She loves arts, comics, cats and travelling around the world with endless curiosity. Diverse culture and delicious local food can always refresh her mind and stir up her inspiration.
