Freddy is a brand strategist. He is a strategic thinker with a creative edge, raised in Amsterdam, educated in London and New York, and now based in Berlin. Freddy is interested in consumer purchase behaviour and consumer insights. Branding is a driving force and passion throughout all of his projects as it plays an important role in consumer behaviour. With a strong interest in brand strategy, FMCG, luxury brands and consumer-oriented innovation, Freddy deploys his knowledge as a brand consultant. Prior to his branding career Freddy was a hands on entrepreneur.He won the "Start-Up Of The Year Award" for an online peer-to-peer rental platform, organized a TEDx edition in the Dutch House of Parliament, and was named one of Holland's top 25 entrepreneurs under the age of 25 in 2012. After graduating from Nyenrode New Business School in the Netherlands, Fredrick co-founded an organic food brand “Farm Brothers”. The brand is known for its health-focused organic snack products. Farm Brothers products are currently being sold in over 1400 premium supermarkets in the Netherlands and Belgium and will soon expand internationally with a variety of products. In January 2015 Fredrick sold his stake in the company.
By pursuing a Masters degree in Branding, after receiving his bachelor in Business, Freddy now has the unique combination of Business, Strategy and Design thinking.
He joined Prophet right after graduating from The School of Visual Arts. In his free time, Freddy is an avid art-collector, enjoys yoga and looks forward to early morning runs in Berlin.
