James Cesario

James grew up loving to draw, paint and sculpt and write stories.  After earning a degree in Journalism from Colorado State University he set his sights on the advertising world, but his career went in a few different directions until he found himself working in the furniture industry…which makes perfect sense given his obsession with furniture design.  James counts Ray and Charles Eames, Poul Kjaerholm and Martin Van Severen (among many others) as his heroes.

In his current role as Architecture and Design Sales Manager for Herman Miller Inc. in New York City, he works with architects and interior designers to help them achieve their vision and goals through customized furniture solutions.  One area he hopes to explore in the MPS Branding program is the role of objects and the built environment in branding strategy.

James has lived in NYC for 15 years and loves the pulse and the access to all the amazing food, art and culture.  When he needs an escape, he, his partner and their 2 dogs spend time upstate or in the Berkshires enjoying nature.

The curriculum for The Masters in Branding Program allows students to create frameworks to guide brand, design and business development, critically evaluate brand, business, marketing and design strategies and Master the intellectual link between leadership and creativity. Learn more...
