Payal Shah is an amateur painter, aspiring brand manager and a professional pajama collector. Her aspirations include, but are not limited to, sleeping past 8 AM on weekdays and eating waffles on the moon. She knows how to tell a story in experiences she designs, for brands that inhabit them and for cultures that have merged seamlessly.
Her curiosity for narratives, innovative experiences and design strategy inform her practice, everyday. A lot of the work she does encompasses disciplines beyond design and she brings a systemic and strategic approach to projects she dives headfirst in. She has recently worked in the Global Strategic Design department as a Visual Brand Strategy Intern at Colgate Palmolive Global Headquarters, New York. Possessing an experience of more than 7 years, she specializes in Brand development, Package design and Corporate Identity and Standards. Few of her clients include Unilever, Coca-Cola and Godrej Group of Industries.
Being an extremely ambitious soul, she moved to New York from Mumbai to earn a Master's degree in Branding at the School of Visual Arts receiving the prestigious Brand Masters Award for exceptional performance and contribution. She also holds a Master's degree in Graphic Design from MIT Institute of Design, India.
