Mo began his early years in a tiny, culture-infused, chaotic city on the Eastern Mediterranean called Beirut. It was there that he found his passion for design. It was also there that he decided to step away for new perspective. At 18, Mo made the move to Southern California, an adventurous change to say the least, where he pursued his undergrad degree in Graphic Design. There, Mo became heavily involved with the AIGA San Diego chapter, leading one of its prominent student groups. 4 years on, the beach, sun and chill California attitude ran their toll, and Mo began to yearn once more for the chaos and fast-paced lifestyle. Next stop: New York City. There, Mo turned to advertising, climbing the ladder as an art director, working mainly in the healthcare industry, until fate steered him in the direction of SVA's Masters in Branding program where he would meet and interact with some of the most talented individuals in the nation. During that intense year, Mo collaborated with his classmates and colleagues on authoring "Brand Bible", a book that chronicles and dissects the concept of Branding and where it came from. In 2012, Mo was invited to Chicago to chair and moderate FUSE University, a one-day seminar dedicated to students of branding and design.
Today Mo works as a Branding & Design Strategy Consultant. He strives to inspire worthier human experiences. Recent clients have included Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Genentech, Air Canada, NIVEA, NABISCO and SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment.
When he's not branding, Mo is either following up on his deep passion for airlines, blogging at FlyMeABrand.com, pinning No Parking signs from Lebanon on Pinterest, or busy founding AIGA's Middle East chapter.
