Jacomine Van Veen
Jacomine van Veen is the founder of Likely, a trend and innovation consultancy applying trends for innovation and (brand and communication) strategy. She has worked for almost 15 years in trend research, in different roles: as a senior consultant Strategic Futures at Philips Design, as a planner in advertising (FHV BBDO), and as chief editor of trend magazine Trend Alert (Grey). This unique combination of experience made her a specialist in applying trends for strategy and creative development. Jacomine’s key strength is her ability to think from the end-user and to translate trends into very tangible consumer insights. With her company Likely she not only embeds brands and organisations in contemporary culture, but also creates tools that enable professionals to apply trend knowledge themselves.
